oregon...days seven and eight

It was totally a circus to find berries the next morning.  We had found a place online that would be perfect, however, there was major road construction and getting to the farm was ridiculous.  We finally made it, only to find out they were unexpectedly closed for the weekend.  Argh!  I was not going home without some berries!  In all of the driving around the construction, we'd seen a sign for marion berries so we followed it and ended up picking at that farm.

I had come prepared with empty plastic containers and an empty cooler, specifically for berries.

The farm owners thought we were crazy.  

We ate at Burgerville on the way out of town...we may have eaten it for breakfast that day too.

Then, we made drove on the long road to Baker City to see some cousins.

We drove the rest of the way home the next day.

It was such a fun trip!  I was sad when it was over.

I heart Oregon.
