We got up early and headed up Hwy 101 to Tillamook. The boys had been anticipating the cheese and ice cream for days.
Then we went and hung out with my grandparents....so fun! We chatted, stacked some wood, had lunch, picked blueberries and made smores on the deck.
This is one of our traditions when we visit their house!
Our plan was to drive back over to Portland and pick berries on Friday afternoon, however, it took twice as long as it should have to get back to Portland. It was terrible! So, we crashed for the night and decided to try again in the morning. The day with Grandpa Fred and Grandma Patty is always one of our favorite days of vacation.
