scary hill

We went on a family date to celebrate Kyle's birthday. I know, how crazy are we?!

First up, miniature golfing along with the funny signs. 

After that, we played Astro Blasters, played in the mouse maze, jumped, and took a wagon ride.

Not even too scary.

a big birthday

Kyle turned 40 this week. The boys were so excited to decorate for him, hide and yell "surprise!" and anything else to make Dad feel loved. 

Kaden helped me decorate by blowing up all of the balloons by himself (I tied them) and laying his gifts out like a K. 

(Bosten picked out Cars wrapping paper for Dad. So funny!)

Dad and Bosten went to Red Robin for a birthday date. 

We went to scary hill (more on that later) and then came back for ice cream pie.

airport

We went to the airport last week to see Grandpa and Lynn, who were flying into SLC. It was fun to ride the moving sidewalks, watch a missionary see his family for the first time in two years, and visit with Grandpa and Lynn. 

bosten's spotlight

Today was Bosten's spotlight at school. He has been so excited about it.  We made a poster to talk about some of  Bosten's favorite things:

Just in case you can't read it, 

Bosten is going to be 5 years old.

His favorite color is red.

He loves to eat mac and cheese.

His cousins are his friends. 

When he grows up, he wants to help people (like Daddy does).

He loves the book, "Pirates Don't Change Diapers".

Since his birthday is this weekend, he got a new pet snake, a ballon, and a crown. We took cupcakes to share with our friends.
It was the best preschool day ever.

park city getaway

It's been fall break here, so we surprised the boys with a quick overnight trip to Park City.  We had a great time swimming at the hotel, eating out, and shopping. 

It was fun to get away and play.

cornbellys

Friday afternoon we went with my sisters (and their kids) to Cornbelly's. We'd heard a lot about it, so thought we would go check it out. 

It was crowded. So crowded. But, still fun. Just ok for me, but the boys loved it and that's what counts. 

It was a fun afternoon.

Bosten and dad had a "for real" field trip today with preschool. It was a million bagillion awesome, according to Bosten.
