happenings

There hasn't been anything new or super exciting lately, but here's life according to my phone.

Grandma offered to babysit one night when she was here, so Kyle and I has a real date.

It was loved ones lunch at school, so Grandma came and had lunch with Kaden.

Some of our friends went to the PAC -12 conference basketball tournament in Las Vegas, and brought this sign back for Kaden. He was thrilled.

My grandparents are in town, and came over for dinner one night.

They also brought a treat straight from the smoker.

We have been sick. Kaden had strep, and the rest of us have had nasty colds.

Bosten has been saving his money and finally had enough for a furby.  He's been playing with it a ton.

2nd grade program

Kaden had his school program this week. It is hard for him to be in loud, crowded spaces (and even more so when the crowd is all looking at him), but he did great.

We were sad Mimi and Papa couldn't be there, but recorded one of the rehearsals to send them.

We were so happy that Grandma was able to come.

Way to go, Kaden!

life, according to my phone

Nothing new or super exciting going on. We've all had the nasty cold/flu-ish stuff that's been going around.

Here are some random things from lately:

The Amazing Race started. Bosten likes it even more than I do.

I think we are good on diet coke for awhile. Ha! Target had it super cheap, so I grabbed a couple...

I got my adoption swap package in the mail. It was a fun package.

Bosten couldn't bear to throw away a valentine he made at school until we'd taken a picture.

Kaden got to try something new at his OT appointment. He loved it.

I got to read with Kaden for an hour at school for the district's read a thon.

There's been a lot of wrestling going on lately.

I love/hate canned food sales.

I have no idea what Bosten got into, but he got a horrible, itchy rash one day.

We've been doing some more painting/changing out/organizing. Sometimes things get worse (as far as a mess goes) before it gets better.
