Oregon!...Day 4

We drove down to Newport so we could go to the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
We were surprised at how expensive it was, but thankfully I had two "buy an adult ticket, get a child in free", so that helped.

They had an area where the kids could drive a boat, put on life vests, catch fish, process the fish, take them to the fish market, etc.  They loved it and we went back at the end so that we could do it all again.

We were there in time to watch feeding time for the otters, but once we got there it was too crowded for Kaden.  So, we went and looked at other things and came back.  It actually was perfect because no one was there and the otters were very playful with the boys.  So fun to watch them play together.

We loved the tanks that went over our heads and saw sting rays, sharks, and a ton of other fish.

We drove down along the bay front, but it smelled too fishy for Kaden so we didn't stay long.
Tried to have lunch again at Mo's, but that was a disaster.  We took a little break, and then went and looked around the outlet malls, hoping that it would give the weather a chance to clear off.
If it would have cleared off, it would have been sunny and 70 degrees.  But, it never did so it was cold and 56 degrees (that's in August).  Crazy.

Doesn't it look cold?  It was, and my looney kids decided that they were still going to get in the water.

It didn't last long, and we went to the pool/hot tub to warm up.

It could have been warmer, but it was another great day!
