first day of first grade

Today was the first day of school.  I have been both excited for him and dreading it for days.

Last week we went in and met his new teacher, and checked out his new classroom.  We also got to go visit his Kindergarten teacher, which was fun too.  I remember doing that every summer as a kid, and I think its important for the boys too.

Kaden picked out his new t-shirt, and we decided that we loved his Army backpack so much that we'd use it again.
