a picture a day

So, one of my New Year's resolutions is to take at least one picture every day. It seems like time is going really fast, and I'm hoping that this will help me remember all of the little stuff that happens on a daily basis. Yes, the big events...trips, firsts, etc. are important (and will be included).

I also think that the every day stuff is important too. In fact, maybe more important, because its what our life and family is about. How is it working?

-take a picture (obviously)
-write down the date and what I took a picture of
-once a week, I upload it all to my album and journal a few sentences

I started January 1st, which was a Saturday, so my weeks are running Saturday-Friday.

Here's last weeks pictures:

Snow day & my little helper who loves to shovel.

Saying goodbye to the last of the bottles (yes, I know it was WAY overdue).

Waiting for Daddy to come home from work.

 Hanging out with Mimi.

Singing.

Playing crossbows and catapolts.

Playing on the computer.

These may not mean much to you, but they definitely do to us.  I'll keep you posted on how this project goes...

I love that idea!! I hope you don't care if I copy:) It is so easy to get in the habit of only blogging the "big" events and those "little" things are just as special!!

Are you kidding me?! You are amazing. This is SUCH a wonderful New Years Resolution. I fully agree, it IS the little things that go by without us thinking...Great job!
