Are you wondering why there's so many adoption posts lately? My question is, why not?!
Even though adoption has come a long way, it still seems like there is WAY more negative than positive out there. Let's face it, people still have a lot of misconceptions and preconceived notions about it, which more often than not, are inaccurate.
Take MTV's 16 and Pregnant for example.
I admit it, I watch. I don't know why though. Every week by the end, I'm completely frustrated and almost yelling at the TV. How often is adoption even considered as an option? How often do these young single mothers struggle? End up with the birth father? Graduate from high school? The list goes on and on.
So, that's why I feel the need to talk about something so close to my heart.

I too am screaming at the tv by the end as well, so frustrating! I like to believe that perhaps these young mothers have no idea the amazing types of adoptions available today....very different from what many think. I think the more people you can educate about your perfectly created little family the better!
