Say that it isn't so!

This is what naptime used to look like at our house:

Kaden has always been a great sleeper, and usually took a good 3 hour nap...well, that is until this past week. He has decided that he doesn't need them every day any more. WHAT?! How could this possibly have happened?! I LOVE naptime! Its my break during the day to catch up on blog reading, sit and read a book, or whatever else I want to do.

I admit that lately its been hard to get him to bed before 10pm. We had been talking about limiting him to an hour or so. But, to eliminate them totally was so NOT in my plans! My sister has been telling me that this day was coming, but I ignored her and said it wasn't so.

And, I have to say that they're not gone forever. He's adjusted to about an every other day nap, and its working....for him. :)

Shelby, I'm in the same boat and it's driving me crazy! Collin doesn't want to nap anymore and 'quiet time' isn't going too well. If you find a solution let me know because I need the break as well!

Jack gave up his nap shortly after he turned three....I've been behind ever since! Good luck.

So sorry for your loss. Cling to those every-other-day-ers. The time will be short until they, too, will be gone forever.

Sam ditched the nap a loooooong time ago and she just barely turned 3! And Addie has started getting up after only an hour. NONE of my girls have ever been really good sleepers. :(

Zachary used to be the best sleeper ever, I would put him in bed and he would go right to sleep, now all sudden he will not go to bed at night, I mean, it gets pretty ridiculous. He was up until two in the morning the other night and when we put him in his bed, he screams bloody murder for like two hours, it is so frustrating!!!!

Oh yeah and a board game challenge sounds fun for the next ladies night. All I'm asking is there is some form of food. In fact, I'll bring some.
