Baseball has been a pretty big deal around here lately, if you couldn't tell. We've watched The Sandlot several times and the boys were shocked to find out that it had been filmed in Salt Lake. So, one day (when Dad was home) we went searching for where it was filmed.
Bosten even ran the bases.
Then we stopped at Mrs. Cavanaugh's chocolate factory and took a tour.
We thought it was a little boring, but the boys loved it...especially the sample part. We bought a couple of treats after the tour, and they were fantastic too.
If that wasn't enough excitement for one day, the ice cream truck was in the neighborhood! We jumped up and ran right out.
We are loving summer!
