kaden's big day

We celebrated Kaden's birthday all day yesterday!

He woke up to a new chair and a bunch of Star Wars guys from Uncle Ryan and Aunt Kerry.  He was thrilled, to say the least.

We went to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch with some of his cousins!
(Thankfully, I'd seen a great deal on City Deals, plus we had coupons)

We had a great time eating pizza, playing games, singing to Kaden, eating Army cupcakes, and redeeming all of our tickets for some treasures.

Kaden was dying to open his gifts.  It was pretty fun to watch him.

Don't you just love the boys' faces in this one?
(By the way, the gift was Army legos...)

We played Minute To Win It games, with our own host Bosten!

The first game was pulling Kleenex, one at a time, out of the box:

Next was the one where you had to jump and dance to get the balls out of the empty Kleenex box (that was tied to their waists):

The third game was stacking 3 dice on a popscicle stick:

Finally, we had them stack Oreos on their foreheads:

Not sure why I don't have Bosten attempting it.
Anyway, Kaden chose root beer floats for his treats.
FYI...they taste even better when they're in an Army cup!

It was a fun, busy day!  We love him and are so glad he's a part of our family!

Fun! Our Boston has a chair like that that grandma gave him for Christmas from Pottery Barn and he loves it! He is now using it as a ladder to get to other things, like on the couch so he can get on the desk or end table so he can freak me out.
