Risk, busted, and another rollercoaster ride

Kaden has been begging Kyle to play the "pirates game" for as long as we can remember. We've always told him he had to be big like Tanner (his cousin, who's 13), however, this week they broke it out. They've been playing their own made up version of the game and Kaden wants to play all the time!

Kaden was asked to say the prayer in Primary last week. He was so excited to do it, but bummed that he didn't get to talk. He obviously doesn't take after me in that regard!

I should have know that when it was quiet today and we couldn't find Bosten, that he was up to trouble. We hunted him down and found that he'd pulled all the books off the bookshelf. We've been cleaning around here and getting things ready for our home visit (for our home study) for Wednesday. Maybe he thought he was helping?!

His little face is funny. He knows he shouldn't be doing it (I've told him a million times), but obviously thinks he's funny.

After the home visit on Wednesday, our home study should be done!

I've been thinking a lot about this next adoption lately.

Been working on a gift for our next birth mother (last time I made the gift in 10 days...it was crazy and I'm going not doing that again).

We've passed out a ton of pass a long cards. We're so appreciative of all of you who are helping in our efforts! If you want another way to help, add our adoption button to your blog. Check it out on our sidebar....and thanks to those who've already done it. You rock!

I read a FABULOUS post today on the R House blog. Have you ever read her blog? If you haven't, you should. There have been many times where she expresses EXACTLY how I've been feeling. Today was no exception. Click here for a good read.

While that one was full of the miracles of their family, ours has had those same miracles. Last year was a hard year for our family. There was a lot of good too....so many that it could be its own post. We're excited to see what this new year will bring for our family. Adoption is such a roller coaster ride! It makes me really excited and really ready to throw up.

Seriously.

Just want you to know that we're strapped in and ready for the ride.
