I've been waiting a really long time to announce
WE HAVE A COURT DATE TO FINALIZE
BOSTEN'S ADOPTION!!
Hallelujah.
Its been a long, hard road and we're so excited and thankful and relieved that we've made it. We're scheduled for next Tuesday morning.
We're not sure what to expect...we didn't have to do it for Kaden's adoption (the judge just signed the paperwork), but we are anxious to go and have him official.

Yay Shelby, its such great news! I can't remember much about when we went with Holland, I think I was kind of in a daze or something! But we have a picture of us with the judge, and I love that. congrats, you're right, it is long overdue! I'm so happy--and relieved--for you guys!

Yahoo! I'm so excited!! So you didn't have to go to court with Kaden? I loved when we went to court with Zachary. Our lawyer was awesome and surprised me by asking me to tell the judge what it meant to be Zachary's mom and I just started bawling. It was a moment I will never forget! Then after it was done, our lawyer and the judge took pictures with us and Zachary and the judge let Zachary play with his gavel and held him and everything. It was the best day ever!! (Besides the day we got him sealed to us in the Temple)! Plus they taped the whole thing and gave us the tape! I hope it's a great day for you!!!!
