We Love Adoption!

Grab a tissue...

We love adoption! We're so thankful for our 2 birth moms. Even though we're still working on the legal stuff with Bosten's adoption, we're so excited and anxious to start the journey again. Its by FAR the hardest thing we've ever done.
People kill me when they say stuff like:
"oh, I wish I could just adopt. it would be so much easier."
"you're so lucky you don't have to go through 9 months."
"adoption is easy."
My response?
WHATEVER.
YOU HAVE NO IDEA.
(those are the nice ones I'm thinking! :))
I haven't been super vocal about how I feel about adoption...other than the frustrations of waiting and hoping to adopt. I guess its because its super close to my heart.
I want to be better.
Its been such a huge blessing. It definately makes you realize that Heavenly Father is very much a part of adoption and He works out the details...the right babies get with the right families. I have a very strong testimony of that.
So, know someone who might be in a situation to consider placing a baby for adoption? We'd love to hear about it. Even if its not right for us, we know people who are trying to adopt too.
MIRACLES HAPPEN.
ADOPTION IS A MIRACLE.

Shelby I loved that video, it made me cry (of course)! And I've gotten those same comments many times too--a couple just the other day, in fact. I just roll my eyes and think, "you have no idea." It is so blasted hard, but so worth it. Your boys are incredibly cute! Its crazy how big Bosten is already!

Was this inspired by Friday nights conversation with Jennie? When I was pregnant with Isabelle I was so sick and Tyler's sister(who adopts) was so wonderful, but it was so hard not to complain to her because I knew that she would have given anything to be as sick as I was. Anyways, I agree-nine months is long, but nothing like what you guys have to do!(Tyler's sister went through a roller coaster-major with their first, so I have some kind of idea what crazy things can happen. Anyways, it was good seeing you guys on Friday!

Thankyou for sharing that. Its definately is an eye opener and I am sorry I am so ignorant on adoption. But I do know that you have touched my heart. The first time I met you in Gainesville with Justin and Kathy, I knew that H.F was going to bless you and Kyle. Thanks again for being who you are and sharing your stories.
