baseball fun

We've played a few games now, and are loving baseball! 

Bosten likes going for the sno cones. 

Kaden had a stand up double one game, which was pretty exciting.  He played catcher one night and decided he didn't like it.

We still have a few shrubs/roots that need to be taken out. (Remember last year when we ripped all of the front plants out?) We worked on them one afternoon. 

The boys are such good helpers.

easter

Easter was very low key this year...no new clothes to wear to church and no big dinner plans.

The boys were happy to find Easter eggs all over the house, along with a basket.

We bbq'ed for dinner, and just had a quiet evening. 

egg hunt

Our neighborhood has an annual egg hunt, and this year it finally worked out to go. We took 2 dozen filled plastic eggs over earlier on the week, so we were ready to go. 

There were eggs in the front yards on both sides of the street. It was fun.

There were a ton of people, so we didn't stay long....but long enough to grab eggs and a donut.

We registered Bosten for Kindergarten:

Baseball season is here! Kaden is playing machine pitch this year. They've had several practices, and yesterday was opening day. 

He is on the Phillies, and is having a great time.

happenings

There hasn't been anything new or super exciting lately, but here's life according to my phone. 

Grandma offered to babysit one night when she was here, so Kyle and I has a real date.

It was loved ones lunch at school, so Grandma came and had lunch with Kaden.

Some of our friends went to the PAC -12 conference basketball tournament in Las Vegas, and brought this sign back for Kaden. He was thrilled. 

My grandparents are in town, and came over for dinner one night.

They also brought a treat straight from the smoker.

We have been sick. Kaden had strep, and the rest of us have had nasty colds.

Bosten has been saving his money and finally had enough for a furby.  He's been playing with it a ton.
