this and that

We sure love this cute 4 month old little girl.

She and Kaden are best little buddies.

Someone thinks she's big stuff for holding her own bottle.

We watched the superbowl with my family and celebrated February birthdays.

I went on a field trip with Kaden and a million other 3rd graders.

She's so lucky to have big brothers that adore her.

A love note from Bosten:

I volunteered in Bosten's class on the 100th day of school:

Who knew I had a Ninja Turtle in the car with me one day!

Dad was a WatchDog Dad at school one day.

Harper's had RSV for the last couple of weeks.  Its been so miserable for her (and for her mom and dad).  Thankfully, we were able to avoid the hospital.  We are so happy that she's doing better and getting back to her happy self.

on my phone

This girl.

I tried chalk paint for the first time. Once I did a couple of coats on these jars, I distressed them and added baker's twine.  Super cute and super easy.

I got to visit with this cute girl at my parent's homecoming (along with other good friends from Motown).  So fun.

We've been sick.  Such a bummer. The good news is it wasn't strep, the bad news is it was a virus that mimics strep.  Boo!

We love her crazy hair (and I'm not kidding...it is crazy).

We are loving this unusual January weather.  Weird to play at the park, and have no snow.

Good little helper.

they're home

Mimi and Papa came home from Australia on January 8th.
We were pretty excited to go the airport to meet them.

We made signs.

Finally!

Harper, evidently, wasn't as excited about the whole thing as the boys were.

I think she was freaked out by all of the noise and crazy going on around her.

christmas break

Here's the rest of what we did for Christmas break:

Harper had her first ponytail.

We did a lot of hanging out.

We played with our cousins.

We celebrated the New Year with party hats and horns, a dance party (thanks Netflix!), and sparkling cider.

Went sledding (again).

This cute girl turned 3 months old.

We had a lunch date.

finally!

We finally got more snow, a few days after Christmas.

Dad had the day off, so the boys went sledding.
It was super, amazing fun.

christmas

The kids surprised us Christmas morning by sleeping in....well, by sleeping in I mean until 6am. Everyone was pretty excited to get downstairs.

Santa spoiled us, as usual, and Harper wasn't quite sure what to think.

The boys declared it was a Christmas miracle to wake up to snow (the first of the season...finally).  It was super exciting to get outside and play in it.

We hung out at home all day.  It was different, but we all had a really good day.

christmas eve

On Christmas Eve (during the day) we hung out.
Kyle was on call, but was planning to go down and hang with my family for Christmas eve.  He ended up working all night...all night as in he got home at 3am.  It was a big bummer.
But, the kids and I went down to Riverton for pizza, ice cream sundaes and gifts.

Then it was home to unwrap new Christmas jammies.
Aren't they the cutest?
My heart is full.
