on my phone

Here are some random pictures lately.

We got our first popcorn tin of the season. We wish Papa was here to share.

We mailed a Christmas box to Australia. Its from all of my siblings too...I was in charge of putting it together and getting it in the maill. It was like putting a puzzle together to make it all fit.

Bosten and I made cinnamon ornaments one day. The house smelled amazing until I realized it would be too smelly for Kaden.  So, we froze the rest of the day with the windows open. Such is life.

Preschool is hard work!

Things are going really well for Kaden at school. We celebrated his award and a great report card with dinner out.

We had a fun visit with some of Bosten's birth family.

We decided that hanging Christmas lights in 60+ degrees was much smarter than doing it in the snow. Kyle called me my father's daughter more than once. Ha! You'd have to know my family from Motown to get that one.

halloween

We had our ward's first annual trunk or treat a few weeks before Halloween, so we got a practice run in before the 31st.

On Halloween, we had two class parties, trick or treating downtown, a quick visit, and then some fun in our neighborhood. It was a fun, full day.

Kaden was Chop Chop, which is a sky landers giant.

Bosten was an Army soldier.

Ward trunk or treat:

Class party:
I helped at Kaden's party, and we played Minute to Win It games. It was waay too crazy to take pictures, but I did get a couple of him and his friend making each other into mummies and decorating cookies.

Trick or treating downtown and a visit with Grant:

Our Primary president always does hot dogs in her garage on Halloween, which is a huge hit for the boys.

pumpkin carving

We carved pumpkins on Bosten's birthday.

Kaden got right to work cleaning it out, Bosten wasn't too excited about it.

Bos wanted a Minecraft design.

Kaden and dad did a little research on dad's phone before deciding on their design.

It was a creeper of a night!

man alive, he's FIVE

Our sweet, funny, crazy Bosten turned five. He's been asking us every day for weeks, "how many more days until my birthday?"

He wanted to go to Chuck A Rama for dinner.

They celebrated him at preschool and I took cupcakes at the end of class.

He was pretty happy and excited all day.

Kaden picked out a Minecraft shirt for him, which he was completely thrilled about.

One of my sisters gave him a new byu hat, which he wore pretty much for the rest of the day.

We sure love this kid!

He wanted a chocolate cake with plastic army men on top, which we did as soon as he blew out his candles.

Happy birthday, buddy! We love you.

fall picnic

Our cousin played in his playoff football game, so we decided to go watch.

We stopped at Sonic on the way, and had lunch as we were cheering him on.

We talked him into a quick picture at halftime.

They won their game and he had his own cheering section!
