2 weeks and counting...

I, too, am anxiously awaiting Stephenie Meyer's new book. While I'm not planning to attend any midnight parties, I will be headed out on that Saturday morning to buy the book. When I got to Utah last summer I hadn't even heard of these books, let alone read them. But thanks to my sister-in-law, Kerry, I got sucked right in. I just finished re-reading the first 3 so that I'm up to speed and ready for Breaking Dawn. (Just a funny note: Kerry and I have since gotten our mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and my sisters to read them too!) I love having a new book to read, and I'm sure this will be a good one.

Cherry hill, part 2

OK, so I finally took the camera with us today to Cherry Hill. Today was especially fun since Riley and Brody (and Lindz, Kace and Bailey) came with us.

Here's the 3 little monkeys playing in the water.

Swimming in the splash pools.

Just chillin'

Kaden always thinks its so fun when we get to play with the kids, and he cried this afternoon when they left to go home. We'll definately all have to go again. So, so fun.

Fun things we do at Kacey's house

Kaden and I go try and get down to Kacey's house at least once a week. She lives in Herriman, which is about an hour on the "long road" (I-15) from us. We try and do fun stuff when we're together. Here's some recent pictures of stuff we've done. I never have the camera with me, so its taken awhile to get these posted....going to the aquarium, riding the carousel at the mall, watching movies, playing in the pool with squirt guns, fireworks, the splash park, etc. Its been especially fun since Riley's been here to go too.

4th Fun

We spent the day in Herriman with my 2 sisters and Mimi and Papa who are in town. We did lots of fun snaps, went to the Riverton carnival, did fireworks, had a BBQ, and went to a splash park. It was a fun day and Kaden loves being with his cousins.

Splish splash

It has been so hot in Utah lately! I'm talking between 95-100 degrees everyday. I know that my internal temperatures run HOT most of the time (as my family keeps telling me!), but it is HOT! Have I said that enough yet? :) Anyway, this is how the kids have been keeping cool. Wish I could jump in and play too. Looks fun, doesn't it?!
